Hardback. 243+224pp. Novel. Two volumes complete. Both volumes carry the bookplate of Alexander Morris Carr Saunders (1886-1966). Carr Saunders was a leading member of the Eugenics Education Committee in the early twentieth century and was the author of severals books on eugenics, social problems, social structures, population and overpopulation, young offenders, juvenile delinquency, new universities overseas, African universities and he was, alongside Julian Huxley and others a contributor to “We Europeans - A Survey of "Racial Problems"”.
